Jasper is a clone of the Wasp synthesizer that was made by the small British company EDP (Electronic Dream Plant) for a few years from 1978 to 1982. The Wasp was one of the first commercially available digital/analogue hybrid synthesizers. Designed by Chris Huggett and Adrian Wagner who created it as an affordable synthesizer using the then newly and widely available inexpensive CMOS digital logic chips.

The Jasper Synth is a DIY project. PCBs are available from the UK. The Synth comes with the build-in Midi kit.
